May 14, 2014 Seabrook, TX – Ed Shearer, Principal Naval Architect with The Shearer Group, Inc., Mark Bourgeois, Vice President – Operations, LeBeouf Bros. Towing, LLC, and Bobby Barthel, Vice President – New Construction, Bourg Dry Dock & Service Co., Inc., announce the delivery of the “GONSOULIN 540.” This is the fortieth hull in this series, all 297’- 6” X 54’ X 12’ inland service double skin tank barges.

Mr. Bos Smith, Vice President, Operations, with Stevens Towing Co., Inc., Yonges Island, SC, announces the delivery of the “OCEAN RANGER,” a 200’ X 72’ X 14’ ABS-classed floating crane barge. The barge was designed by The Shearer Group, Inc., Seabrook, TX, and built by Metal Trades, Inc., of Yonges Island, SC.

CAPT. John Nadeau, Commanding Officer, and CDR Peter Gooding, Chief, Engineering Division, with the Coast Guard Marine Safety Center visited The Shearer Group, Inc. (TSGI) at their offices in Seabrook, TX.

Deloach Marine Services, LLC, and A & Z Marine, LLC, are pleased to announce the completion of the “M/V Z SHARON.” Z. David Deloach is the sole owner of Deloach, which provides charter towing service along the GIWW and A & Z, his shipyard located in Port Allen, LA.
