Inland Cutter Suction Dredge Modifications

TSGI was contracted by Orion Marine Group to perform an overhaul feasibility analysis and modernization design for one of their existing non-self-propelled Cutter Suction Dredges, the EVERETT FISHER, built in 1968. TSGI was first tasked with developing as-built drawings for the dredge, as well as determining the feasibility of extending the dredge ladder by 20’ to increase digging depth, which included designing a new gantry A-Frame to support the larger ladder. TSGI also provided new superstructure for the dredge with new quarters, galley, and lever room. TSGI has been providing field engineering support services to assist with the fabrication and integration of all modifications to the dredge.
